November is over and that means that NaNoWriMo 2017 is too. So, how did I go?
I didn't win. I got 15k towards the NaNoWriMo official goal, and overall for my novel I have gotten 45k words done. I have given myself until the 11th of December to get my manuscript done because I have a bit more flexibility for submitting this to my beta readers and editor.
I got sick which took a week out of this month along with back to back appointments and events afterwards. I'm not beating myself up as I still got a heap of writing done and enjoyed doing sprints with my friends immensely. I'm intending to do Camp Nano in both April and July next year for the plans I have upcoming...
At the end of December I'll be reviewing my bimonthly goals but at this stage it's ONE task off failing, aha. That's okay though. December's post will be a bit long with outlining my goals for 2018 and breaking them down.
I've been scratching my head over blogging/newsletters/social media for quite some time and I think it's best that I do what feels right for me. Monthly blog posts means that I can do in depth as well as just focus on writing. I really enjoy using Instagram and doing bookish and writing related posts. So I'm going to be focusing on that and Facebook while Twitter does it's own things I guess? XD
So, nearly at the next stage with Therian Steel. I'm nervous and excited. The bothersome thing is that I also have another story I want to work on. Drafting cycles may be implemented for this to work but we'll see how things go.
